We seek projects in the applied arts and handicrafts that may require funding of teaching or study, materials or space, travel, presentations, exhibition, practical demonstration, and community awareness. We do not fund capital projects or unaffiliated individuals.
The foundation will assist the creative work of those who convey knowledge and respect for their chosen media in all its historical and anthropological depth. To that end our officers or representatives employ site visits, due diligence, or other acceptable means of inquiry to determine the worthiness of a proposal. The recipients of our annual awards are responsible for using the funds exclusively for their defined purposes and the reporting of the work completed under the foundation’s aegis.
